This waterproof Derby with a jointed bead top was created in 1982 by Chaussures de Gatine, a family business which has been operating since 1957 in Deux-Sèvres.
The idea is to create everyday shoes that can be used both in the fields and in the city. This model is both rural and urban , authentic and in tune with the times .
The Kneipp assembly technique (Swedish method) is a specific technique associated with a double "Petit Point" stitching which ensures the identity, solidity and flexibility of the "Gatine Shoes".
This is the last French workshop to work on this specific manufacturing.
These Megève derbies are entirely handmade at the Manufacture .
The notched rubber soles are resistant even to hydrocarbons and antistatic.
