It all started in 1972, when the paternal grandfather of the current manager, Melik Baratian, launched his own mesh manufacturing workshop in Clamart, southwest of Paris. Since the end of the war, real family know-how has developed. At that time, no fewer than 250 knitters coexisted in this small Parisian textile area.
In 2022, one of the last knitwear manufacturers in the Paris region created Nitto Knitwear , driven by the desire to create beautiful, practical and durable clothing. This brand is defined by a bold combination of classic style and contemporary innovation and defends intimate production , combining craftsmanship, sportswear and refinement.
The sweaters are designed, programmed, knitted, washed, milled, assembled and ironed in France, in the family workshop in Clamart.
