The authentic 100% cotton Breton sailor top made near Lorient since 1922 .
Made from a “Rachel mesh” fabric, reputed to be unravelable , this striped top takes on the characteristics of the regulatory striped striped top of the French Navy.
It is a technical garment, meeting precise codes.
The size is that of the French Navy.
The sailor's sailor's top must be close to the body while remaining comfortable to facilitate maneuvers. The sleeves must be 3/4 length so as not to exceed the sweater or jacket that comes on top.
Either you choose to wear it in your usual size, quite close to the body and three-quarter sleeves OR one size larger, with sleeves at your size, and lots of room.
This sailor top is unisex.
