The French beret
100% Basque manufacturing
The French Beret was born in 2012 from the meeting of an entrepreneur passionate about “Made in France” , Rodolphe, with artisans with exceptional know-how. Since 2014, the company has been recognized as a Living Heritage Company .
Convinced of the potential for development of the beret in France and internationally, Rodolphe, although a novice in this field, decided to create a beret factory located in the small village of Laas. In 2018, she left Béarn to settle in Bayonne.
Each stage of manufacturing a beret is carried out in France, from knitting to fulling, including shaping and drying, shaving, final checks and finishing touches. Made of quality merino wool, the berets are now available in 24 colors , not to mention a wide range of designs.
