From generation to generation

The adventure was born in 1940 thanks to the initiative of Jean-Marie Bonnefoy, a craftsman from a small village in Haute-Loire focused on textiles . In 1972, his son took over general management to perpetuate the know-how of knitwear and develop the creation of fashion accessories (scarves, stoles, hats, gloves, ponchos, etc.).

The company then took an international turn over the years with Bonnefoy Creations, working mainly as a white label for the biggest French brands and luxury houses .

Chloé Bonnefoy, embodying the 3rd generation, took over the family business in 2015 with a new eye by creating Maison Bonnefoy . It offers a whole range of items created and made in France , inspired by its travels and encounters.

Until then mainly specialized in the creation of fashion accessories, in 2021 the house launched its very first unique collection of decorative accessories , rich in high quality materials which has continued to grow since.
