Alarmed by the development and impacts of fast fashion, it was in 2018 that Martin, the founder of Valet de Pique , set himself a challenge: to highlight French know-how while finding moderation in consumption .

In November 2018, he met a factory in the 11th arrondissement of Paris . This family business run by a brother and a sister with expertise for over a hundred years, manufactures leather harnesses , tool boxes and nail bags. Everything is done by hand or using machines as old as the company. Authentic , local and sustainable .

The objective is simple: to transmit know-how, a history, an artisanal passion in each of the pieces, while promoting jobs, craftsmanship, beautiful products.

Valet de Pique thus offers leather goods that last over time, age well, develop a patina , are maintained and repaired if necessary. The pieces are entirely manufactured in France , in two workshops: one in Paris , in the Belleville district, and one in Biarritz . Each piece is handmade by their artisans , with heart and passion .
